From July 2010 through January 2011, I will be living in Bogotá Colombia, studying informal recycling as a Fulbright Fellow. I hope to better understand the driving forces behind informal waste flows, as well as the environmental benefits and risks that come with them. I will be collaborating with the Asociación de Recicladores de Bogotá, Corporación Suna Hisca, and Universidad Manuela Bertran.
